Financing is probably the most important step.

To illustrate this I will start by telling a funny story.

I was a new agent with tons of enthusiasm and bend over backwards willingness to help people.

One couple wanted to go look at homes in the $100,000 range.

The $100,000 range sometimes is very difficult to find anything decent to live in.

We literally spent every night for about 3 to 4 weeks looking.

We finally found them the perfect home.

I wrote up the offer.

I called my banker to find out what they could qualify for.

They qualified for a home that was only $80,000 max.

I realized immediately that all my effort was in vain and a waste of time.

I don't want this to happen to you.

We need to get you pre-qualified.

Finding out how much you can buy is key.

There is a big difference in the type and quality of home you can get between the $120,000 and $150,000 price range.

Although, you don't need to max out your price range.

You will find out in a hurry what price range you will feel comfortable living in.

You can use your own banker or use mine.
